About

Born in Melbourne, and currently living in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria Australia.

I work full time as a registered nurse in a busy metropolitan hospital and paint in the snippets of my spare time.

Painting was initially a bereavement therapy after the loss of my son and I now create in a small studio space – ‘Little Leif Studio’ – in his memory. The diverse Australian landscape is a constant source of inspiration – especially the big sky in all its moods. I particularly love to paint the rolling hills, wide open fields and tree-covered mountains of my surroundings.

Painting and time spent in nature – whether wild or peaceful – is deeply comforting and rejuvenating. I love to paint outdoors, especially when travelling and often paint sketches in watercolour as references for oils in the studio.
